With recent national and global uncertainty and falling economic indicators, it is apparent that credit risks are increasing across the economy.

With media speculating many countries are headed towards a recession and the ongoing trade wars starting to bite, it’s never been more important for credit professionals to be on top of current economic conditions.

Understanding the emerging global trends and the shifting political landscape is key to managing your credit exposures. To navigate these difficult times Dean Pearson, Head of Behavioural & Industry Economics at NAB will update you on what these trends mean for credit management.

Dean Pearson is an Industry & Business Economist with over 25 years’ experience in analysing the economy and assessing the implications both in Australia and globally. Dean leads a team of analysts responsible for monitoring key economic, business and consumer trends and identifying industries and customer segments which are likely to provide the strongest growth opportunities and greatest risks.

The QLD council will also provide an informative session on the benefits of CCE accreditation including ‘WHIFM’ (what’s in it for me), evaluating a mock exam, Q&A with existing CCE professionals and preparation for the upcoming CCE exam to be held
6 - 9 March 2020.
