Michael is Special Counsel in TurksLegal’s Commercial Group with over 30 years’ experience in banking, insolvency and commercial disputes. Michael’s presentation will focus on the strategies available to companies to respond to adverse events, including both formal and informal pathways.

Ingrid is an active workplace, and community, mental health and suicide prevention lived experience advocate, educator, and peer support consultant of more than 19 years. Ingrid’s presentation will focus on the importance of self-compassion in hardship.


This session will focus on hardship from all perspectives; how to restructure a business experiencing financial difficulty, how to deal with your customers experiencing hardship and how to maintain resilience in your role when dealing with hardship cases.
 
This session is part of our continuous activity to ensure AICM members stay on top of how industry trends can affect their business by providing opportunities to connect experts and fellow credit professionals.
 
In light of the recent bush-fires across the country, the VIC AICM Council will be fundraising for the Country Fire Authority at this event.
